Making a donation to Suashi Foundation is simple and secure. We offer several convenient ways for you to give:

  1. Online via our website: Visit the Donate page, choose a campaign or make a general donation, enter your preferred amount, and complete the secure checkout. You will receive an instant confirmation by email.
  2. Bank transfer: You may transfer directly to our foundation bank account. Please use your full name or email address as the payment reference so we can match your gift. Our account details are displayed on the Donate page and in your confirmation email.
  3. In person: Attend any of our events or visit our office during working hours (Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm WAT) to make a cash or cheque donation. Ask for an official receipt on the spot.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference in the lives of children and families we serve across Nigeria. Thank you for your generosity!

We want giving to be as easy as possible. Suashi Foundation currently accepts the following payment methods:

  • Debit & Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and Verve cards are accepted through our secure payment gateway. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
  • Bank Transfer (NEFT / Direct): Transfer directly to our foundation account using internet banking or a mobile banking app. Our account details are shown at checkout.
  • OPay: Pay instantly using your OPay wallet or the OPay app by sending to our registered OPay account number.
  • USSD: No smartphone? No problem. Use your bank's USSD code to transfer to our account number from any mobile phone.

All online transactions are protected by SSL encryption. If you encounter any difficulty completing a payment, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Yes! Every donor receives an official acknowledgement of their gift.

  • Online donations: An email confirmation is sent to the address you provided within a few minutes of your transaction completing. This email includes your donation reference number, amount, date, and the campaign your gift supported.
  • Bank transfers: Once we confirm your transfer (usually within 1–2 business days), we will send a receipt to your registered email address. Please ensure you include your name or email in the transfer narration/reference to speed this up.
  • Cash donations at events or our office: You will be issued a printed receipt on the spot. Please keep this for your records.

If you have not received your receipt within 3 business days, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, get in touch with your donation reference number and we will resend it promptly.

Note: Suashi Foundation is a registered NGO in Nigeria. While we do not currently issue tax-deductible receipts, we are actively working towards IPPIS and FIRS recognition to provide this benefit to donors in the future.

We are always excited to welcome new volunteers to the Suashi Foundation family! Here is how to get started:

  1. Fill in the volunteer application form: Visit our Volunteer page and complete the online application. The form takes about 5 minutes and asks about your skills, availability, and the areas you are most passionate about.
  2. Wait for our response: Our volunteer coordinator reviews all applications and will contact you within 5 working days. We may invite you for a brief informal conversation (phone or in person) to find the best fit for you.
  3. Orientation: All new volunteers attend a short orientation session (in person or online) where you will learn about our mission, code of conduct, safeguarding policy, and the work you will be doing.
  4. Start making a difference: Once orientation is complete, you will be matched with tasks, shifts, or campaigns that suit your schedule and skills.

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you can give two hours a week or two days a month, your time is invaluable to us.

You do not need any special qualifications to volunteer with Suashi Foundation — a willingness to help and a kind heart are the most important things you can bring!

That said, we do have opportunities that make great use of specific skills:

  • Teaching & tutoring: Volunteers who can support literacy, numeracy, or vocational skills training for beneficiaries
  • Healthcare & social work: Nurses, doctors, social workers, and counsellors who can join our outreach programmes
  • Administration & logistics: Organisational skills are always needed at events and in our office
  • Photography & creative arts: Help us document our work and create content that inspires others to give and serve
  • Technology: Web developers, data analysts, and IT professionals who can help improve our digital tools
  • General community service: Hands-on helpers at food drives, clean-up exercises, and distribution campaigns

When you apply, simply describe your background and interests and we will find the right role for you. No experience is ever wasted here.

Registering for a Suashi Foundation event is quick and easy:

  1. Go to the Events page on our website and browse upcoming events.
  2. Click on the event you would like to attend to open its detail page.
  3. Click the "Register Now" button and complete the short registration form with your name, email address, and phone number.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email with your event ticket or reference number. Please bring this (printed or on your phone) to the event.

Free events: Most of our community events are free to attend. Simply register and show up!

Paid events (fundraising dinners, galas): You will be directed to our secure payment page to complete your ticket purchase. Your ticket will be emailed to you once payment is confirmed.

If you are registering a group, please complete one registration per attendee, or contact us for group booking assistance.

Yes! Many of our events are available online or in a hybrid format so that supporters from across Nigeria and around the world can participate.

Here is how online attendance works:

  • Check the event listing: Events that offer online attendance will be clearly marked with an "Online" or "Hybrid" badge on the Events page.
  • Register as usual: Use the same registration process. On the form, select "Online" as your attendance mode if prompted.
  • Receive your link: A few days before the event, you will receive an email with a Zoom, Google Meet, or YouTube Live link — depending on the platform we are using for that event.
  • Join on the day: Click the link in your email at the scheduled start time. Some events may require the link to be entered into the meeting app manually.

We recommend joining 5–10 minutes early to test your audio and video. If you experience any technical issues on the day, please email us at events@suashifoundation.org and our team will assist you as quickly as possible.

Do not worry — your donation reference number is always retrievable. Here are a few places to look:

  • Your email inbox: Search for an email from noreply@suashifoundation.org or Suashi Foundation. The subject line will include words like "Donation Confirmation" or "Thank You for Your Gift". The reference number is displayed prominently in that email.
  • Your spam or junk folder: Confirmation emails occasionally land in spam. Check there if you cannot find it in your inbox.
  • Your bank statement: If you paid by bank transfer or card, the transaction will appear on your statement. The amount and date can help us locate your donation even without a reference.

If you have checked all of the above and still cannot find your reference, contact our support team with:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used at the time of donation
  • The approximate date and amount of your donation

We will look it up in our records and send your confirmation details within 1–2 business days.

We understand that circumstances change, and we make it easy to manage or cancel a recurring donation at any time — no questions asked.

To cancel:

  1. Email us at support@suashifoundation.org with the subject line "Cancel Recurring Donation".
  2. Include your full name, the email address linked to your recurring plan, and your donation reference number (if available).
  3. We will process the cancellation and send you a confirmation email, usually within 1 business day.

Please note:

  • Cancellation requests received at least 3 business days before your next scheduled charge will prevent that charge from going through. Requests received less than 3 days before may result in one final payment being processed.
  • We do not offer refunds for charges that have already been processed, but we will always honour a cancellation request from that point forward.

If you would like to pause your recurring donation rather than cancel it entirely, or change the amount, please mention this in your email and we will accommodate your request.

Thank you for every contribution you have made — it truly matters.
